Antique Oak Stepback Cabinet

An original and truly stunning antique dental cabinet dating from 1910-20. Manufactured by The American Cabinet Co. in Wisconsin, USA. It is 100% original throughout. Handmade in the finest quality quarter sawn oak with carvings, columns and capitals. The drawers all run freely and have been thoroughly cleaned. Original felt lining in each drawer. The plethora or drawers and cupboards of varying sizes means it could appeal to so many people and uses eg. Crafters, woodworkers, sewers, collectors, jewellery storage, etc. One interesting feature is a secret locking mechanism that requires one strategic drawer to be opened before the others are released.

This great dental cabinet features (20) lower cabinet drawers and a step-back upper cabinet section with (2) cupboards, all original bevelled glass mirror, and leaded glass doors. This upper piece is removable. Original hardware and hexagonal glass pull knobs. Beautiful raised panelled oak, professionally refinished.
