Meriden B. Company Silverplate Pitcher #394

The Meriden Britannia Company was formed in 1852 in Meriden, Connecticut as a manufacturing company focused on producing wares in britannia metal. Markings indicate that this gorgeous water pitcher is quadruple plate. The hammered finish makes a gorgeous reflective pattern. Substantial handle with additional decorative mouldings. This is a nicely weighted pitcher that is beautiful to look at as it is useful for serving.
