These are the MOST unique and gorgeously refinished shutters! Why spend on artwork when you can have a piece of history that is one of a kind, organic and beautiful? Solid wood construction. Their origin is unknown but they certainly show significant age...there are three identical long rectangular shape with a raised framed perimeter and two side by side elongated diamond on diamond shapes carved out of the centre. Interestingly there are small numbered metal buttons on each one as well. Original paint colour of a deep brown/red with some crackling, crazing and tones of color which only beautifies the finish. The sides have indentations from brackets that once were attached and there are some cracks in the wood which is expected given their age. Protected with a urethane finish and ready to hang. Picture hangers on the backside for ease of hanging. Look amazing as a set but priced individually.
